MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST INTERNSHIP:
Work with our multimedia journalists to research, shoot, edit, report news stories for web and broadcast. Intern will be scheduled specific coverage tasks and other duties as assigned. Intern stories may be broadcast on “My TV20 News at 10” or published on www.tv20detroit.com with overall quality and professionalism the determining factors.
REQUISITE: must be seniors in the upper quarter of their class. Curriculum history must include prior experience as a journalist in a radio or television newsroom, with experience to include non-linear video editing, web posting and web content production. Course concentration must be broadcasting, communications, or journalism. Recommendation of academic advisor, links to work samples of prior on-air reporting for college newscast must be provided as part of initial online application. This is an unpaid, for school credit-only position.
