Abandoning a career-long practice of avoiding her films' premieres, Nicole Kidman attended a screening of her latest film 'Australia' - and didn't like what she saw.

"Because of Baz I had to see it," she told Sydney radio station 2dayFM. "I saw 'Moulin Rouge.' I've really only seen that and this in my whole career." She said, "I can't look at this movie and be proud of what I've done... I sat there, and I looked at Keith [Urban] and went, 'Am I any good in this movie?'"

Kidman, 41, told 2dayFM, "It gets worse as I get older."

'Australia' was a critical and commercial flop, earning lukewarm reviews and a disappointing $47 million in the U.S. since its November release. Kidman admitted that she fled to her home country - the actual Australia - to avoid the critics. "We ran because I didn't want to read anything. I didn't want to know," she said. "I saw my sister and my family and we saw Keith's family and then we were straight on a plane."

Despite dissatisfaction with her own performance, Kidman was quick to praise the work of her colleagues. "I thought Brandon Walters and Hugh Jackman were wonderful," she said. "It's just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all."
