Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off

Michigan attorney general Mike Cox was in the Motor City today to help kick off Hispanic heritage month. The attorney general was the guest speaker at the Hacienda Mexican Foods business luncheon. The focus of the event is to promote the growth of Hispanic owned businesses in Michigan.

“We now have 10,000 businesses here in Michigan owned by Hispanics. That’s only going to grow in the future. And the impact detours our economy, and diversity, its going to be great..it’s going to be phenomenal as more Hispanics come to Michigan.”

Hispanic heritage month continues into mid-October.
