Event Description
The Museum of contemporary Art Detroit is opening its doors to the public of the exhibit " Words Fail Me". The exhibition opens with a special preview from 7 to 11pm. At 8pm the poet John Giorno will give a reading. Music by Little Claw from their new album Pink Reason and Michael Yonkers begins at 9:30pm. There will be a cash bar.
On Sunday, Matthew Higgs and artist Jeremy Deller will be in conversation at 3m accompanied by a screening of Deller's celebrated film Memory Bucket. Other program events include lectures by artists Carl Poe on October 10th; Lisa Anne Auerbachon November 8th and Sam Durant on November 15th.
