Apple Poised to Discontinue iPod Classic, iPod Shuffle?

According to a post on the blog TUAW, Apple may discontinue the popular iPod Classic and iPod Shuffle by the end of the year. According to the post, all of Apple's iPods would have touchscreens if the two aforementioned models are discontinued.
