Woman Loses Legs, Fingers Due to Rare Infection Following Dog Bite

A tragic story from Texas.

According to a report from the Austin American-Statesman, a 48-year-old Texas woman has had her legs and nine of her fingers amputated after being bitten by a dog on Christmas Day. The woman developed a rare blood infection after being bitten, according to the Austin American-Statesman report.
