Man Arrested After Argument With Stepdaughter Over Birthday Cake, Police Say

A weird story from Florida this week.

According to a report from the Daytona Beach News-Journal, police said a 44-year-old Florida man was arrested on a felony child abuse charge following an apparent argument over a birthday cake involving his 16-year-old stepdaughter.

The man allegedly pushed the girl, pinned her against a wall and pushed her into a dishwasher, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal report.
