Mother Accused of Abandoning 8-Month-Old Daughter in Woods

A shocking story from Pennsylvania this week.

According to a report from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, police said a 24-year-old Pennsylvania woman has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of children for allegedly abandoning her 8-month-old daughter in the woods with a bottle of milk.

A neighbor found the girl, who was taken to a hospital for evaluation, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report.
