DETROIT (MyTV 20) - Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and Detroit Public Schools emergency financial manager Robert Bobb have joined forces to support Proposal "S." That's the $500 million bond that, if voters approve in November, would be used to build eight new schools and renovate ten others.
If approved, Proposal "S" is expected to create about 11,000 jobs in Detroit. Construction would start as soon as possible.
