A Smaller Council?

DETROIT (MyTV 20 News at 10) - A couple of members from the Detroit city council could soon lose their jobs if voters decide to shrink the council. The city's charter board commission is proposing that in November, voters decide if they want to reduce the number of city council members from nine to seven by electing five by district and two at large. That's means two positions would be eliminated.
