Ex-Husband Shoots and Kills Wife, then Self

March 18, 2011

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (My TV20 News at 10) --- Michael Kitchens had been sought by police as the shooter who killed his ex-wife.

This morning, they found Kitchens dead in his car on a Royal Oak street, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.

His ex-wife's body was found last night in a residence in the 27000 block of Marshall Street in Southfield. Police suspected 31-year-old Kitchens, and then issued an alert that he was being sought - and considered Kitchens armed and dangerous.

Their search ended this morning.

Late details about the shooting tonight on My TV20 News at 10.
