DETROIT, Mich. (My TV20 News at 10) --- A 20 year old Detroit basketball star was killed over a pair of Cartier sunglasses.

Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve the case.

Family members tell My TV 20 they want the killer behind bars.

It’s hard to believe that someone would kill for a pair of sunglasses, but unfortunately it's true.

20 year old Darryle Miller of Detroit was shot and killed last August, over a pair of Cartier sunglasses at the corner of Fort and Cass Avenues.

The student and basketball star at Tiffin University in Ohio died after being shot in the back.

Now Crime stoppers of Michigan is offering up to $2500 for information that leads to the arrest of the killer.

Darryle's mother told reporters today she wants to see her son's killer behind bars.

Rose Ford, the victim's mother, says, “I have to go visit my son at the cemetery. To see your child's name on a headstone, it's so hurting to me.”
