DETROIT, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- A Detroit mother who is accused of killing her young daughter now faces felony murder charges.
26-y/o Semeria Greene was arraigned today in 36th District Court on felony murder / homicide charges, as well as first degree child abuse.
Greene is accused in the December 30th death of her 8-year-old daughter Tameria. According to police, when they arrived at Greene's apartment in the 22-hundred block of Larned they found young Tameria with stab wounds and unresponsive. She was rushed to a local hospital where she died.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy says it was Semeria Greene who stabbed and killed her.
Tameria would have been 9 years old yesterday.
