DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- After much anticipation, today, the city of Detroit broke ground on the construction of the new public safety building in downtown Detroit.
The old MGM Casino grounds will serve as the new home for both the police and fire departments.
The new building will also house a state of the art forensic lab.
