DETROIT, MI (My TV20 News at 10) --- Kurt Kosmoski remembers when he heard his brother's flight had been blown out of the sky over Lockerbie, Scotland.
Gregory Kosmowski had been one of the 259 people onboard Pan Am Flight 103 when it fell from the sky December 21, 1988.
Ten others from Metro Deteroit had also been on the jet, while 11 people on the ground also died.
Kosmowski was upset when British authorities released Abdel Baset al-Megrahi from prison in 2009..
The former Libyan intelligence worker had been the only person convicted in the bombing.
British released al-Megrahi because doctors believed he only had a few months to live.
Al-Megrahi died Sunday in Libya.
But, that doesn't ease the pain Kosnowski and other survivors of the victims feel.
