SMART Buses to Keep Rolling

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (My TV20 News at 10) --- Farmington Hills City Council has voted to keep the SMART bus running through their city.

Their vote keeps the buses traveling through Farmington Hills after there were rumblings that the system would not make stops in the city.

The decision comes after dozens of riders spoke at the meeting Tuesday saying they needed the buses in the city to be able to commute.

According to SMART, Farmington Hills stops are not just crucial to the riders but also city property taxes contribute millions to the company.
