Sex Offenders To Report at Precincts Now

DETROIT, Mich. (my TV20 News at 10) --- There are several Detroit Police precincts where sex offenders will now have to go to register.

This change comes as the downtown Michigan State Police station closed as of this past Friday, where sex offenders used to be able to register.

Here are the precincts where registry will be accepted:

Central District
Identification Unit

Northeastern District
5100 E. Nevada

Southwestern District
4700 W. Fort Street

Northwestern District
(6th & 8th Precinct)
11450 Warwick
313-596-5600

10th Precinct
12000 Livernois
