State Park Plans for Belle Isle Unveiled

DETROIT (MY TV 20 News at 10) - Mayor Dave Bing and Governor Rick Snyder announced today that Belle Isle will become a state park over the next 30 years.

Pending approval from city council, a $10 charge will be added for cars to go on the island and money from the toll will go toward improvements to the islands.
