DETROIT, Mich. (my TV290 News at 10) --- Now that Christmas is over, the final major shopping day of the year begins.

Throughout southeast Michigan, the annual “After Christmas Sales” are pack shoppers into stores, anxious to use those gift cards as well as returning presents.

Retailers are just now beginning to get their arms around the volume of last-minute Christmas sales.
