Teacher Facing Drug Charges

February 9, 2011 BATTLE CREEK (MyTV 20) - A Detroit Pubic School teacher faces drug charges, after police allegedly found heroin in his car. 40-year-old Robert Hatchett, Jr., who teaches seventh grade at Paul Robeson Academy and coaches basketball at Central High, was arrested last month for drug possession. Police say that during a traffic stop on I-94 near Battle Creek, they found one hundred thousand dollars worth of heroin along with twenty-six thousand dollars in cash in his vehicle.
