DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- Detroit Public Schools says its students have improved their "MEAP" State test scores, but they are not satisfied with the results.
The higher test scores come after the district restricted schools on the academic curriculum they can use in the classroom.
DPS says some students will have an extended school year to bring them up to speed on their academics.
My TV 20's Jorge Avellan has the story.
