DETROIT, Mich. (My TV20 News at 10) --- One of the two women found dead in the trunk of a burning car Christmas Eve has been identified.
The Wayne County Examiner's Office confirmed that 29-year-old Vernithea McCrary was one of the bodies found in a garage on Lannette Street on the city's east side last weekend.
McCrary and another woman were found blocks away from where 2 cousins were found dead in a trunk of a car.
Three of the four women were connected to a website that offers adult services. The office used dental records to identify McCary. The other woman found with her has yet to be named.
