From Universal Studios comes this hilarious documentary-style look into the often humorous and sometimes poignant situations that exist in the world of 9 to 5. THE OFFICE is a half-hour comedy based on an award-winning BBC sitcom. Since it's premiere in 2005 THE OFFICE has established itself as a genuine hit, earning prestigious industry honors such as the 2006 EMMY Awards for Outstanding Comedy series, the 2006 Critics Award for Excellence and the TV Critics Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

Using a fly-on-the-wall "mockumentary" approach, THE OFFICE delves into the lives of workers at a paper supply company in Scranton, PA. Regional Manager Michael Scott (Golden Globe Winner Steve Carrell) serves as tour guide for the documentary. He has no clue his employees tolerate his inappropriate behavior only because he signs their paychecks.

Pam Beadley (Janet Fisher) is the friendly office receptionist and Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) is the likable sales rep who should have found a better job years ago. Jim shares his work space with Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) the arrogant and irritating assistant to the regional manager and the whole crew seems to spend most of their time trying to find new and interesting ways to drive Dwight crazy... and the laughter ensues. This acclaimed sitcom is filled with gossip, pranks, romance and all sorts of general foolishness. One thing is sure...if you ever hated your boss, your job, or both, then you'll love this show!
