The Michigan International Books festival will take place October 29, through 31, 2010 at the Laurel Park Place Mall in Livonia. Authors from around the region and country will sell their self-published or self promoted books. Actress Victoria Rowell will be on hand to sign and sell her books "Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva" and "The Women Who Raised Me."

Free lectures, panel discussions, workshops and classes on writing and all things literary.
The event helps to promote literacy and will provide free of charge brand new books to select local students.
