Local Radio Show Fights to Stay On Air
107.5 WGPR Inspirational Show hosts Christmas Web-A-Thon
DETROIT--- “All I want for Christmas are the resources needed to continue bringing southeastern Michigan residents informative and inspiring individuals, music and news”, says Jacquelyn Rochell. A Different Vue with Jacquelyn Rochell on The NEW 107.5 FM WGPR is the newest inspirational show to hit the airwaves. The positive, uplifting, “tell-it-like-it-could-be” show is rocketing to the top of Sunday morning ratings and needs your help staying on air.
The show airs every Sunday morning from 8a – 11a and has hosted and spotlighted the likes of DPS Emergency Financial Manager Robert Bobb, Detroit City Councilwoman Saunteel Jenkins, Grammy Nominated gospel group 21:03, Grammy Nominated soul singer K-Jon, and many other models of success including local businesses in an effort to extend the WGPR mantra, “Local and Loyal”.
After three months of being on air and receiving rave reviews, A Different Vue with Jacquelyn Rochell is in jeopardy of cancellation due to unfulfilled sponsor contracts. The show’s team is currently hosting a Christmas Web-A-Thon in order to raise enough money to stay on air, and continue production of shows that H.E.A.L. Although, a newcomer to Sunday morning radio, after only one month of interactive promotions, A Different Vue with Jacquelyn Rochell went from number 11 to number five for its time slot. Producer and Host, Jacquelyn Rochell has poured tens of thousands of dollars from her own pockets to stay on air and is now asking for a very special Christmas Gift.
