Free Flow Poetry in collaboration with Michigan Spring Book Festival introduces "Recite" a poetry contest for all poets. The contest will take place at Laurel Park Place Mall (6 mile rd & Newburgh Rd) in Livonia, MI on April 17, 2011. The time of the event will be from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

Contestants must pre-register and perform original work only. Maximum length of poem is 3 minutes. Contestants will be judged on delivery, content, and performance. Entry fee for contest is $10. Ages for contest is 16 an up. Cash prize to winner.

Open mic will take place as well and must pre-register, entry fee for open mic performers is $5.

Deadline for registration is April 15, 2011 12:00 noon.
