The Palace of Lapeer-Ultimate Piston Fan

Somewhere, north of the Palace of Auburn Hills, is another palace. This one, however, is in my home and is a 1/16th scale model of the Pistons' court. I decorated this room for my son who is Pistons' Fan #2. Usually it is he who enters the contests, but not today. It was my back that broke painting the court on his floor; but I will admit I did it because I love both my son and the Pistons. The light was made out of plywood and was fashioned to resemble the PalaceVision. My son has grown up, married and left home; but his room will never be redorated. In fact, it is becoming more and more crowded with Pistons' memorabilia. You can still see the floor though. Nothing will cover it up and nothing will deter me from screaming, "Go Pistons!"
