Me driving my quarter midget

Over the past six years of my life I have enjoyed the fun of motor-sports. It had all started when my dad noticed how good I was at my racing video games. He then asked me if I actually wanted to drive the cars and I had told him that I would love to do that. It was then that we had taken up quarter midget racing. They are like little sprint cars without wings. I had gotten really good at this and won two championships during my two seasons of racing. It was during these 2 years that NASCAR became a huge part of my life. I was only fourteen at the time and I would sit down and watch the race every Sumday with my dad. I made him buy tickets for us to go to the June race at Michigan International Raceway because I was so into this growing sport. We ended up getting the tickets but I could not go into the pits as I was too young to go. Later during the race day in June 2006, the race had gotten rained out and Kasey Khane had won due to this fact. It was an awesome time and I would love to go again. I now have a child and don't get to go out as much. I always will love the sport and plan to attend many events later in life but It would be the best if I could actually attend an event at MIS as now I am old enough to get into the pits and can actually maybe meet some of the drivers. This is what my life is about racing. I am a student at Michigan Technological University studying for a degree in mechanical engineering to actually be able to design new parts and chassis hopefully for NASCAR someday. I always have loved to be around engines. I work on my car all the time to make sure that there is never anything wrong with it. I know it all inside and out.I also went to Vegas and did the Richard Petty Driving Experience. The day after that I went to the Bull-Ring and practiced in a Thunder Roadster for a day. Like i said Racing and NASCAR are my way of life. It would truly be a huge honor to receive the tickets to go and watch what I love to do best.
