This photo was taken a few years back. I remember it was HOT out. This was the day that me and a few friends of mine encountered Dale Earnhardt at the Race at MIS. He was signing autographs a few feet away from where we were at. What a joy he brought to the fans! There faces lite up with excitement when they saw him. You could see a crowd of people starting to gather - like the flood gates had been opened. People showed their patronage to their favorite driver picks by wearing those T-Shirts, hats or carrying beer cups. We met many interesting individuals and many many die hard Nascar fans. I think that the Nascar fans are like one big family and they all stick together and have a lot of fun. And when the day is done you know that they will be back again to enjoy another day at the race. That is why I like Nascar because it brings people together that all share a common interest.
