Calling all poets, singers, comedians, and musicians...

Looking for something other than the meat market scenes, or the tired I'm too cool for school kiddie bars. Check out Sweet Epiphany Cafe 13305 W 7 Mile Rd between Schaefer and Outer Dr. This is no candy store. Sweet Epiphany is a home to the local art scene. It host several open mic nights, art gallery showings, and book signings.

Weekly events include:

Free Flow Poetry Open Mic every 2nd and 4th Monday, doors open at 7:00 p.m. The cover is $5.00.

Boundless Xpressions every Wednesday, doors open at 7:00 p.m. The cover is $10.00.

Neo Saturday Nights every Saturday, doors open at 8:00 p.m. The cover is $5.00.

Soulful Sunday's every Sunday, doors open at 7:00 p.m. The cover is $5.00.

Thank God there are places like Sweet Epiphany that exist to showcase the creativity within the community. I love you to death for opening a place like this and hope to become a regular patron soon.
