People are increasingly concerned about the origin of their food and knowing the source of it. That’s one reason why more people are looking to “Buy Local” when they head to the supermarket. Food grown by local farmers doesn’t require long distance shipping so cutting down on your “food miles” also cuts down on the carbon emissions connected to food.
