Police Audit

Detroit Police may soon have to pull over their cars. A lack of insurance could force the action if city leaders don't complete the city's audit by November 30th. Public buses are among other city cars and trucks that would be affected. The secretary of state could *ban* city leaders from "self-insuring" their fleet of cars and trucks. There's doubt city leaders could afford private insurance until the audit's finished. Both sides will meet next week to discuss a possible extension.
