It's been a long six-year wait to play the Final Four in Detroit. That wait has felt even longer for one of the event's hosts. My TV 20's Dave Leval introduces us to the host school of this year's Final Four.

They're here. The Tar Hells, The Wildcats, The Huskies, and of course the Spartans. Let's not forget the Detroit-Mercy. That's right, Michigan's largest private University is displayed at Ford Field. Why not? Detroit-Mercy is the host university for the Final Four.

Keri Gaither is UDM's athletic director. She's also one of the main organizers for the tournament. Gaither is also making sure her school plays a role in the Final Four.

What's also exciting is all the free publicity the university will receive from the Final Four.

So even though Detroit-Mercy is not playing in the Final Four Tournament, fans can still remember the Titans. At Ford Field, Dave Leval, My TV 20 News at 10.

Detroit Mercy did receive a donation for being the host university, but, administrators did not tell us how much they received. Wayne State University will also play a role in the Final Four. The Final Four teams are expected to practice at the campus gymnasium tomorrow, and possibly Friday. Those practices are closed to the public. But, you can go to the practices at Ford Field Friday from noon to 4pm.

By the way, Campus Martius Park and IKEA Destination Shuttle are offering free shuttle rides to the Final Four this weekend. It runs to and from the park Friday and Saturday from 9am to 10pm. Sunday, from 9am to eight pm. And Monday, 9am to 10 pm.
