Salvation Army Needs Hoilday Volunteers

DETROIT (MyTV 20) - The army is looking for you -- not the U.S. Army, but, the Salvation Army.
Volunteers are needed to fill 50,000 shifts for the annual Red Kettle Campaign, which helps thousands of needy families around the area every year.
Salvation Army leaders tell us the demand for help is up 60% this year. This year's campaign will start a few days earliers to meet the growing demand for help.
The Red Kettle Campaign will start Friday, November 13th.
