Flu Vaccinations10/16/2009The H1NI vaccine is now available in Wayne County. But as My TV 20’s Jorge Avellan tell us, not everyone will be able to receive it. Today, Wayne County’s Health Department announced they’ve received their first H1N1 vaccine shipment. Robert Ficano But Wayne County wasn’t the only one providing H1N1 vaccinations today. Medical workers at Oakland County also received them. Dozens of first response employees such as paramedics and police officers got the shot throughout the day. Oakland County officials say it’s important these individuals get the vaccine because if they get sick, it’s hard to replace them.
