Angel's Night Safety

The city of Detroit’s Angels Night safety program goes into effect tomorrow.

And there’s plenty you can do to help make this Halloween a safe one. The mayors office is still taking volunteers to help patrol the streets of Detroit from October 29th through the 31st.

Residents are also being asked to watch abandoned buildings during those same nights to prevent arson.

City officials want to remind residents that starting tomorrow a curfew goes into effect for minors under eighteen years of age.

BEVERLYN HILTON
ANGELS NIGHT COORDINATOR
"The curfew on October 29th which is Thursday, is eleven o’clock. The curfew for October 30th is Friday at six PM to Saturday six AM in the morning and than for Halloween the 31st it’s eleven o’clock at night."

If you want to sign up to volunteer for Angels Night call the mayors office at 313-224-3400.
