Record Drug Bust for DPD

DETROIT (MyTV 20) - Detroit police announced their largest drug bust ever Thursday. Police Chief Warren Evans announced that DPD seized fourteen kilos of cocaine and $200,000 in a bust last weekend.
Authorities found the drugs and money in two parked cars at Splash Bar and Grille in Detroit. The vehicles were searched after a man who sat inside another car approached police for no reason while they patrolled the area. That suspect had five kilos of cocaine in his car. He was arrested but released for paying a three thousand dollar bond.
Detroit police are still looking for the owners of the two vehicles were the drug and money was found.
