DETROIT (MyTV 20) - Remembering the victim of a tragic death: hundreds gathered Monday to attend the funeral of Jamar Pinkney, Jr., the Highland Park teen who was shot in the head last week.
The funeral was held at the Second Ebenezer Church in Detroit. Friends and family of the fifteen-year-old boy stood in line to pass by his casket and say goodbye one last time.
Jamar's father, Jamar Pinkney, Sr., has been charged with first degree murder and will be in court for a preliminary examination on December 1.
He is accused of shooting the teen in the back of the head, reportedly after hearing that the boy had molested a three-year-old relative.
