11/23/2009

Tools

Efforts continue tonight to help protect our state's borders. Members of the Michigan Homeland Security Constortium held their roundtable
discussion today at Troy's Automation Alley. They discuss ways to lure more of the industry to our state. Organizers tell us that includes everything from border security, to protecting our food.

SENATOR VALDE GARCIA
MI HOMELAND SECURITY CONSORTIUM
"It's important to protect our food because terrorists have looked at
harming our food, whether it's at the agriculture level, or distribution
level."

Consortium members meet once every three months.
