Today, Detroit police announced that over the weekend, they confiscated one point three million dollars worth of heroin.

The 715 grams of Heroin, which was being delivered in a parcel envelope, was confiscated after police received a tip from the department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, that a drug package would be delivered to a vacant house on the city’s West side.

"Our crews with narcotics teamed up with ICE and put a surveillance in place at the house and arranged that the package would be delivered shortly after it was delivered. The crew was able to get a search warrant and make entry into the house."

Police are not saying where the heroin came from or how many people were arrested.
