Alarming Poverty Among Michigan Seniors

SOUTHFIELD, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- A new study shows that thirty seven percent of senior citizens in Michigan are living at poverty level.

Many can't afford basic needs such as clothing and medicine.

To help out, the American House centers across Michigan are hosting a holiday fundraiser to provide care for the elderly in need.

You can help out by purchasing a paper ornament at any American House center in the area.
