Art Van Makes Big Donation to Detroit Firefighters

Detroit, MI ( TV20 News at 10) -- Mayor Dave Bing and the Detroit Fire Commissioner Donald Austin happily accepted 150 new mattresses and box springs from Art Van Furniture this morning.

The donation came as a part of the mayor's Active and Safe Detroit, a program dedicated to raising $50 Million dollars to support the city's public safety and recreational programs. The much needed beds will be distributed to various firehouses in the city.
