Brightening the Blight

DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- Young people in Detroit are decorating the outside of abandoned homes to make them less of an eyesore. It's all part of a photography project run by the community group Focus: HOPE.

The middle school age students are focusing on LaSalle street near Oakman Boulevard. The teens say they feel better about their community with the pictures installed on the vacant homes.
