DPS Adds Pre-Kindergarten

DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- As of Monday, Detroit Public Schools is offering a "Universal Pre-Kindergarten" program at dozens of its schools. The new program is available to four year olds who live in Wayne County.

The "Golightly Education Center" is among the schools offering the program. Administrators there tell our Jorge Avellan that the new curriculum will help young students transition into kindergarten.
