DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- It was a place where memories were made, careers were launched, and romances blossomed.
After a half-century, The Caucus Club restaurant and bar in downtown Detroit has officially closed.
Our Jorge Avellan was the only reporter allowed inside the restaurant as the owner packed up and prepared historic items that decorated the establishment for an online auction.
The Caucus Club was known for its great food but also for helping start Barbara Streisand's career as a lounge singer at the location.
Jorge spoke one on one with the owner and has her story.
