DETROIT (My TV 20 News at 10) - Some of the world's top athletes are in town tonight.
They're competing to find out who will become their sport's best player.
The event comes as Detroit is battling to find out if it will host next year's "Summer X-Games."
That's expected to generate about $50 million into the local economy.
Hosting major sporting events is nothing new for the region.
