DETROIT, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said Detroit's housing market is an opportunity for blacks to step in.
The controversial leader spoke at the Coleman Young Center Friday morning, saying blacks should step and become homeowners by purchasing abandoned homes.
Farrakhan believes buying the homes will help empower blacks in the community.
