Film Industry Eyes Detroit

DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- The film industry in Metro Detroit keeps booming as more and more local producers are making movies.

The film "Train Up a Child", that was shot in Detroit with local talent, will premiere next week at the Star Theatre in Southfield.

LaToyia N. Mack is the CEO and executive producer of "Purple Promise Films" that produced the movie. She told our Jorge Avellan Detroit is entering into a new era with the film industry.
