GM's Clean Sweep

DETROIT, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- It's a clean sweep for General Motors at the start of the 25th anniversary of North American International Auto Show.

The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado wins Truck of the Year, while the Corvette Stingray takes home Car of the Year. A moment the company says exonerates the bailout they received.

The 2014 Silverado is the latest redesign for the full sized truck. The truck typically is the second best selling truck behind Ford’s F-Series Trucks. General Motors recalled 370 thousand of the trucks last Friday because of a software glitch which caused the trucks to idle hot. Alan Batey GM’s incoming President of North America says recalls happen and moving fast is important to customers.
