DETROIT, MI (My TV20 News at 10) ---GM workers will soon have a few extra dollars to spend.
The automaker announced this morning 49,000 hourly workers around the U-S are eligible for profit sharing checks.
Those workers will receive roughly 67-hundred dollars each.
That's after the automaker earned $4.86 billion last year.
That's about a $3 billion drop from its record profit in 2011.
